“Downside in Chaos”

In this photographic series, I explore the absurd poise we maintain amid chaos—the strange grace with which we carry out our rituals while the world tilts beneath us. Each image presents a solitary figure, nude, exposed, and inverted—yet calm, contemplative, and holding a coffee cup as if everything were normal. The chair is flipped. The surroundings shift—orchards, ruins, poolsides—but the posture remains.

The work mediates how we adapt to instability and cling to the comfort of our habits while systems collapse, climates shift, and realities unravel. It’s about control in the face of helplessness, composure in the middle of collapse. By stripping away clothing, setting, and sense, I invite the viewer to see vulnerability not as weakness, but as truth.
