This project explores the human condition through its breadth, weight, condition, experience, and struggle. My goal is to enable my viewer (who is, in some cases, my collaborator) to find themselves within the photograph, either through escape or empathy. I find that my photography attempts to approach poetry: I try to remove, simplify, and clarify to make the defining attribute or form in the photograph clear.
This is an ongoing and ever-evolving project. It gets redefined as I grow and as my experience changes.
